On Wednesday, the Lahore High Court’s Election Tribunal granted permission to Dr. Yasmin Rashid to participate in the elections for NA-130, accepting her appeal. The tribunal overturned the decision of the rating officer who had initially rejected the nomination papers of the incarcerated PTI leader.
Contrary to expectations, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has opted not to engage in any seat adjustments with other political parties in Lahore for the upcoming general elections on February 8.
The PML-N has finalized the initial list of candidates for Takht Lahore, with most party leaders choosing not to enter into seat adjustments with rival political entities.

Nawaz Sharif, a prominent party figure, will be contesting from the National Assembly Constituency NA-130, while Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz is set to participate from NA-120.
Other key candidates include Sardar Ayaz Sadiq from NA-117, Hamza Shehbaz from NA-118, Ali Pervaiz Malik from NA-119, Sheikh Rohail Asghar from NA-121, Saadrafique from NA-122, and Shahbaz Sharif from NA-123.
