New Zealand batter Devon Conway has described his ongoing PSL journey with Islamabad United as highly positive. He shared that strong team bonds and welcoming environments have made his experience enjoyable.
Speaking at a media briefing, Conway said the team’s camaraderie has helped him adapt smoothly to the league. “Playing in the PSL so far has been a very positive experience. Our group in Islamabad United is well-bonded, and I’m enjoying myself,” he stated. He added that he looks forward to spending more time playing cricket in Pakistan.
Conway praised Karachi for its quality pitches, noting that batting conditions are excellent for competitive play. He also reflected positively on Lahore, highlighting the hospitality, food, and local environment as enjoyable.
“Those were great memories, and now we are back in Karachi for PSL matches, where the pitches are excellent for batting,” he said. Conway added that hotels have good restaurants, and people have been very welcoming.
The wicketkeeper-batter recently made his PSL debut against Multan Sultans. Islamabad United, a three-time PSL champion, are set to play their second match of the tournament against Peshawar Zalmi at Gaddafi Stadium on Tuesday.
