The Mumbai Police have filed a chargesheet detailing the firing incident outside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s Bandra residence, which allegedly involved a plot orchestrated by Anmol Bishnoi, the younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
Allegations and Plot
The chargesheet alleges that Anmol Bishnoi directed a gunman, Vickykumar Gupta, to fire shots outside Khan’s residence as a means to intimidate the actor and assert the Bishnoi gang’s dominance in Mumbai. Anmol reportedly instructed Gupta to shoot in a manner that would cause maximum intimidation and even suggested that Gupta smoke during the act to project fearlessness on CCTV footage.
Anmol’s instructions to Gupta included, “You will create history by doing this job and your name will be there in all newspapers and other media,” according to the chargesheet.

Incident Details
Salman Khan’s statement included in the chargesheet recounts how he was woken by a sound similar to a firecracker early on April 14. His police bodyguard later informed him that two individuals on a motorbike had fired shots at the first-floor balcony of his Galaxy Apartments residence.
Investigation and Current Status
Anmol Bishnoi, who admitted to orchestrating the shooting, is currently residing in Canada. However, the Mumbai police traced the IP address of a Facebook post where he confessed to Portugal and have issued a lookout circular (LOC) for him.
In his statement, Salman Khan expressed his belief that the attack was carried out with the intent to harm him and his family, attributing the act to Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang members.
The case continues to unfold as authorities seek to bring those involved to justice.
