Dawid Malan Registers for PSL10 Player Draft

Former England cricketer and PSL veteran Dawid Malan has officially entered the player draft for Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10. The experienced batter, who represented Multan Sultans in the 2024 season, will be among the top players available for the draft set to take place on January 11, 2025, in Gwadar.

Malan began his PSL career with Peshawar Zalmi, playing three seasons before joining Islamabad United and later Multan Sultans. In the 2024 season, he contributed significantly to Multan’s campaign, helping them secure a runner-up finish. Over 25 PSL matches, the 37-year-old has scored 631 runs at an average of 28.68 and a strike rate of 122.28.

He is the sixth overseas player confirmed for PSL Season 10, joining international stars such as Sikandar Raza, Jason Roy, David Willey, Usman Khawaja, and Mustafizur Rahman.

The draft pick order has also been announced. Lahore Qalandars, the two-time champions, will have the first platinum category pick, followed by Karachi Kings. Quetta Gladiators, Peshawar Zalmi, Multan Sultans, and reigning champions Islamabad United complete the order for the opening round.

With Dawid Malan’s inclusion and draft preparations in full swing, anticipation for PSL 10 continues to grow. The league, celebrated for showcasing local talent and attracting global stars, is gearing up for another thrilling season.
