Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has issued a strong warning to the Afghan Taliban, saying that Pakistan will not tolerate cross-border terrorism and will take all necessary steps to defend its sovereignty.

Speaking on recent security concerns, Dar said that Pakistan’s patience is running out as militants continue to launch attacks from Afghan territory. He urged the Taliban government to take “practical and visible action” against terrorist groups like the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) that operate near the border.

Dar emphasized that Afghanistan must ensure its soil is not used against Pakistan, calling it a matter of national security and regional peace. He also added that Pakistan remains committed to dialogue but will act decisively if provoked again.

Officials in Islamabad believe that repeated cross-border attacks are straining bilateral ties and that continued inaction from Kabul could lead to serious consequences. The statement comes amid a rise in terrorist incidents targeting security forces in Pakistan’s border areas.

This development marks one of the strongest warnings yet from Pakistan’s leadership, signaling a tougher stance toward militancy coming from across the Afghan border.
