Crush controversy: Aima Baig sues news platform of Rs 100 million.

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Singer Aima Baig has issued a legal notice to the local media outlet ‘FHM’ Pakistan for broadcasting false information about her crush, requesting Rs.100 million in defamation damages and a written apology within 48 hours of receiving the letter.

Aima Baig resorted to Instagram on Friday to publish images of court records as proof of her massive fan base.

This depicts Baig’s rage and confidence in the face of’shameless yellow journalism’ and allegations levelled against her.

“This is high time when we should stand against yellow journalism and fake reporting (which is only done for the sake of comments and likes). I have had enough, so I am standing up for myself and many others from becoming their next prey”, said Baig.

“A clear and unbiased listening of the old interview of my client alluded to by you in your post/story would indicate without any doubt that my client never uttered such a statement which you have attributed to her,” the legal notification states. It is quite evident that you have distorted and misrepresented the content of her interview, and have purposefully taken it out of context and misapplied it in your heinous act to damage my client’s image and fame.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
