Authorities Crack Down on Agent Mafia Outside Passport Offices
Authorities have launched a nationwide crackdown on the agent mafia operating outside passport offices, aiming to eliminate illegal practices.

Director General of Passports, Mustafa Jamal Qazi, has instructed all regional passport offices to submit daily monitoring reports to headquarters. A special investigative team from the headquarters will conduct surprise inspections to track down agents engaged in unlawful activities.

The DG of Passports has urged citizens to report illegal activities and support law enforcement efforts against the agent mafia. He emphasized that the expansion of 24/7 passport office services nationwide is designed to provide a convenient and transparent passport issuance process.
Furthermore, he reassured the public that delays in passport issuance have been addressed, and efforts are being made to further reduce processing times. These initiatives aim to make the passport application process corruption-free and efficient, ensuring a seamless experience for applicants.
