More Problems for Ducky Bhai as Court Refuses bail in Betting App Case

Judicial Magistrate Naeem has rejected the bail plea of YouTuber Saad-ur-Rahman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, in the betting app case.

The YouTuber, who has millions of followers, remains in custody on judicial remand. His lawyer, Advocate Chaudhry Usman Ali, filed a post-arrest bail application under Section 497 of the Criminal Procedure Code, arguing that the FIR was false, baseless, and aimed at damaging his client’s reputation.

The petition maintained that the apps promoted were not declared illegal at the time, and no evidence of fraud or forgery has been found. It added that the charges under PPC Sections 294-B and 420 are bailable, no complainant has claimed financial loss, and that Ducky Bhai has no criminal record or intent to flee.

The NCCIA registered the case for promoting gambling and betting apps such as Binomo, 1xBet, Bet365, and B9 Game. Authorities allege these platforms, unregistered in Pakistan, defrauded the public of millions.

Ducky Bhai was previously placed on the Provisional National Identification List for evading inquiries. He was arrested at Lahore’s airport while trying to leave the country, where officials seized his phone and found evidence of misleading videos, unauthorized payments, and his role as Binomo’s country manager without state approval.
