[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]A local court has ordered that Dr Shahbaz Gill’s Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) be blocked due to his refusal to appear in a case involving inciting revolt against institutions.
In addition, the court has asked for information on all of Gill’s properties.
In the instance of inciting to revolt against institutions, the district and sessions courts began the process of designating Gill an absconder.
The court directed that the notification be posted prominently throughout Islamabad, Faisalabad, and F8.
The court’s move is in response to Gill’s persistent failure to appear in court.

The court ordered that if Gill landed at any Pakistani airport, the director general of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) immediately notify the court.
Furthermore, the court requested a report from relevant agencies on the process of declaring Gill an absconder by July 26.
The court also demanded information on Gill’s movable and immovable property from the deputy commissioners of Islamabad and Faisalabad.
During the proceedings, the court recorded the assistant sub-inspector’s statement regarding the execution of the non-bailable warrant.
Gill was rumoured to have visited the United States.
As a result, the court directed the National Database and Registration Authority to suspend Gill’s CNIC.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
