Court Extends YouTuber Ducky Bhai’s Remand In Online Gambling Case

A local court in Lahore has extended the physical remand of popular YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, also known as Ducky Bhai. The court granted the extension for another four days to allow further investigation.

Ducky Bhai was produced before Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo at the district courts on Thursday. The prosecutor informed the court that the investigation is ongoing, and several new names have emerged during the initial five-day remand.

The government prosecutor requested more time to complete the investigation and present full details at the next hearing. This prompted the court to consider the extension request seriously.

However, Ducky Bhai’s lawyer, Chaudhry Usman Ali, opposed the extension. He argued that further detention was not necessary. After hearing arguments from both sides, the court decided to extend the remand.

The YouTuber faces allegations of promoting an online gambling application. He was arrested on August 16 at Lahore airport and has been in custody since then.

The court’s decision highlights the seriousness of the case and the need for a thorough investigation. Authorities are working to collect evidence and identify other individuals involved.

The extended remand will give investigators more time to complete their work and prepare the case. The next court hearing is expected to provide additional information on the progress.

Ducky Bhai’s case has attracted widespread attention due to his popularity on social media. The court proceedings are being closely followed by the public and media alike.

As the investigation continues, the court remains the central authority overseeing the legal process. It ensures that due process is followed while safeguarding the rights of all parties involved.

The court’s role is crucial in maintaining law and order, especially in cases involving online activities and digital platforms. The outcome of this case may set a precedent for similar matters in the future.
