Court Denies Ducky Bhai’s Plea to Get Back YouTube Channel

In a significant ruling, the Lahore District Court has turned down well-known YouTuber Saad Ur Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai’s, plea to regain access to his YouTube channel and mobile phones, though it approved the return of several personal items.

The order was issued after a hearing on property and digital accounts taken during Ducky Bhai’s custody. Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo announced the decision after listening to arguments from both the prosecution and the defence.The court directed authorities to return 19 items recovered in a detailed search, including bank cards, identity documents, a laptop bag, a GoPro camera, and other personal belongings.

During proceedings, the prosecutor told the court that Ducky Bhai had uploaded eight videos even though his YouTube account was part of an active investigation. The Assistant Director of the NCCIA raised concerns that videos linked to the case could be deleted or altered.

In response, Ducky Bhai submitted an affidavit assuring the court that no content would be changed. He explained that the videos were uploaded by his editor, a friend based in Hyderabad.The court also questioned the NCCIA Director about account access issues. Although Ducky Bhai has not been allowed to reclaim his YouTube channel at this stage, the return of his personal belongings provides partial relief.
