A grand Annual Sports Day was organized at Chaudhry Rehmat Ali Memorial Trust Girls High School. Students actively participated in various sports, while a large number of parents and guests attended the event. Provincial Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat graced the occasion as the chief guest.
The students participated in activities such as the Pot Race, 50-meter Race, Three-Legged Race, Fish Race, and more. The event also featured impressive demonstrations of karate and aerobics. To celebrate regional culture, students presented a vibrant cultural program showcasing the traditions of all four provinces.
Provincial Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat and other notable guests distributed medals, prizes, and certificates to students and teams who secured positions in different games. To encourage the winners, Rana Sikandar Hayat personally announced a cash prize of Rs. 100,000. He expressed his aspiration to resolve educational issues over the past 76 years, following the vision of the Chief Minister of Punjab. He also highlighted various initiatives undertaken by the Punjab government to enhance educational facilities and address students’ needs.
Speaking at the event, General Secretary Khalid Mehmood Rasool emphasized the importance of extracurricular activities in shaping students’ personalities. The ceremony was attended by prominent figures, including the President of Chaudhry Rehmat Ali Memorial Trust, Dr. Syed Usman Wasti, and Principal Najm-ul-Sabah, along with many other guests.
Participants shared that taking part in sports boosted their confidence. Such extracurricular activities instill team spirit and a sense of competition, essential for personality development.
