CM Naqvi Unveils Mobile App For Punjab Education Boards

In Lahore, the Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, inaugurated an e-service mobile app for the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) on Monday. The chief minister, during the unveiling ceremony, announced plans to extend the app’s implementation to all education boards in Punjab within a week. This integrated mobile app is designed to connect all education boards, offering students easy access to necessary services by specifying the respective board’s name.

Taking to Twitter to share the news, CM Naqvi expressed his excitement about the user-friendly online portal of BISE Lahore, which streamlines access to documents and services. He highlighted that students can now receive documents at their doorstep, and the initiative will soon be extended to the remaining eight boards across Punjab.

The inauguration of the BISE mobile app by CM Naqvi involved unveiling a plaque and pressing a button to mark the occasion. He personally reviewed the application, exploring its features on a mobile device. The chief minister observed various processes, including e-payment, degree verification, result card issuance, NOC issuance, and migration certificate procedures.

Additionally, CM Naqvi witnessed the issuance of duplicate and triplicate degrees through the e-app, praising the degree verification process for government institutions facilitated by the BISE app.

The event saw the presence of Provincial Education Minister Mansoor Qadir, Secretaries of Higher Education and Information, Chairman of Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), Commissioner of Lahore, Chairman of BISE Lahore, Secretary of BISE Lahore, CCPO, and other officials.

This initiative reflects a significant step toward digitizing educational services in Punjab, making them more accessible and convenient for students. The commitment to extending the app to all education boards in the province underlines a broader effort to enhance technological solutions in the education sector and streamline administrative processes for the benefit of students and educational institutions alike.
