Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has taken serious notice of her photo being displayed on a mosque in Mandi Bahauddin and sought clarification from the district’s deputy commissioner.
Expressing displeasure, she reprimanded the official for allowing the act and directed all district administrations to strictly follow SOPs regarding the use of her portraits. She stressed that official images should only be displayed under policy guidelines, warning that violations would not be tolerated.
