China Sends Two Relief Planes with Aid for Pakistan Flood Victims

Two Chinese relief aircraft carrying supplies for Pakistan’s flood victims landed at Noor Khan Airbase.

According to the NDMA, the planes delivered 300 tents and 9,000 blankets. The aid was formally received by Federal Minister Engineer Amir Maqam, NDMA Chairman Lt. Gen. Inam Haider Malik, and the Chinese ambassador to Pakistan.

Minister Amir Maqam praised the timely assistance, calling it a reflection of the enduring Pakistan-China friendship. He added that, under the Prime Minister’s directives, government bodies and the NDMA are actively engaged in relief operations. He further emphasized that China has consistently stood by Pakistan in times of crisis.

In a great step, USAID announces 500 scholarships to students of flood affected districts.
