China Reaffirms Support for Pakistan Amid Regional Tensions

China has reiterated its firm commitment to safeguarding Pakistan’s sovereignty, with Professor Victor Gao, Vice President of the Center for China and Globalization, stating that no country would be allowed to threaten or violate Pakistan’s territorial integrity.

In an interview with Turkish media, Professor Gao praised the effectiveness of Chinese military hardware, particularly the J-10C fighter jets, which he said performed impressively during recent escalations between Pakistan and India. He suggested their performance had challenged Western perceptions of Chinese military capability.

“This should be a wake-up call for the U.S. and Europe,” Gao said, emphasizing that the West should avoid provoking China. He also described the bond between China and Pakistan as “unbreakable,” likening the relationship to that of siblings.

His remarks signal a continued strategic alignment between Beijing and Islamabad amid growing geopolitical tensions in South Asia. The statement also underscores China’s broader posture in defending its allies in an increasingly polarized global landscape.
