China, Iran Congratulate Shehbaz Sharif On PM Role

China and Iran congratulate Shehbaz Sharif on securing his second term as Pakistani Prime Minister. The messages of congratulations from these friendly nations followed the PML-N-led coalition’s victory in last month’s general elections.

Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang expressed their felicitations to the PML-N leader on becoming the 24th Prime Minister of Pakistan. Jinping expressed hope that under the leadership of PM Shehbaz Sharif and the new government, combined with the united efforts of all sectors of Pakistan, Islamabad would achieve new and greater accomplishments in national development and progress.

Iranian envoy to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghaddam, conveyed his warmest congratulations to Shahbaz Sharif for being elected as the new Prime Minister of Pakistan. He extended the desire for all-encompassing relations and bilateral cooperation between Iran and Pakistan, expressing the hope for peace, security, and stability in the years to come between the two nations.
