The trade conflict over tariffs between the United States and China has intensified with no resolution in sight. Foreign media reports that China has responded by imposing new tariffs of up to 84% on U.S. imports.

According to a statement from China’s Ministry of Finance, these tariffs will take effect starting Thursday.Previously, China had enforced a 34% tariff on American goods, which has now been significantly increased.

This action follows steep tariffs of up to 104% imposed by the U.S. under President Donald Trump on Chinese products.

Experts warn that the escalating trade war could lead to greater global market instability, as stock markets have already shown signs of decline.

Analysts believe the continued exchange of tariffs may further strain U.S.-China relations and pose serious risks to the global economy.
