China reaffirmed its stance against the “forced displacement” of Palestinians in response to questions about former US President Donald Trump’s proposal to relocate Gaza’s residents elsewhere.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun stated, “Gaza belongs to the Palestinians and is an integral part of Palestinian territory… We oppose the forced displacement of the people of Gaza,” during a regular press briefing.

Trump’s plan suggested that Palestinians would not have the right to return to Gaza, instead proposing alternative living sites outside the region. His remarks, revealed in an interview excerpt, faced widespread criticism and rejection from countries across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
