Pakistan, a nation with a population exceeding 241 million, is gearing up for the polls this Thursday, amid an atmosphere of uncertainty. A record-breaking 128.5 million voters will determine the composition of the next government.
The upcoming general elections will see the electorate voting for Members of Provincial Assembly (MPAs) and Members of National Assembly (MNAs).
In the days leading up to the polls, the Election Commission conducted a mock test of the Election Management System (EMS), developed for the tabulation and compilation of election results. The pilot exercise involved Returning Officers (ROs) from 859 constituencies across Pakistan, ensuring the system’s functionality in both online and offline modes, with successful completion of all required steps and objectives.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
