Reports from Indian media suggest that Pakistan and India have reached an agreement to adopt a hybrid model for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, with the ICC granting its approval.
Under this model, India will not travel to Pakistan and will play its matches in Dubai. Similarly, Pakistan will skip traveling to India for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026, with their games being scheduled in Colombo instead.

Indian media also claimed that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will not receive any financial compensation under this arrangement.
