As part of its efforts to offer an enhanced cultural experience to Islamabad residents, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) is in the process of creating a Festival Square within F-9 Park.

According to a report in a national newspaper, residents of the federal capital will have the opportunity to savor folk music and enjoy their favorite culinary delights.

Regarding the Festival Square, an official from the civic authority mentioned that established food brands and companies are eligible to submit their applications until November 1. It’s worth noting that preference will be given to brands with a minimum of five years of experience.

The CDA official also stated that the Festival Square will feature food trucks, street performers, folk musicians, and stalls showcasing handicrafts to entice the public. Notably, women entrepreneurs have been given priority, with 55% of the stalls allocated to them, 40% to men, and 5% to transgender individuals.
