Canva, the popular online design platform, faced a global outage today that left users unable to access their accounts or load projects. The disruption affected users in several regions, including Pakistan, where many experienced persistent connection issues.
Visitors encountered “Connection timed out” errors, disrupting work for students, professionals, and designers depending on Canva for creating presentations, social media content, and design materials.

The company acknowledged the issue on its system status page, confirming that users were facing access problems due to timeout errors. Canva’s engineering team was actively working on resolving the issue, and by midday (12 PM PKT), an update confirmed that recovery efforts were underway.
As of now, the platform appears to be functioning again, particularly for users in Pakistan, who are once more able to log in and resume their work.
