Cancer hospital ran out of medicines in Balochistan.

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Cenar, the sole cancer hospital in Balochistan, has ran out of medications in yet another tale of hopelessness, making a treatment for the fatal condition a luxury that only a selected few can afford. According to Dr. Feroz Khan Achakzai, who also spoke to Express Tribune, “despite guarantees from the provincial administration, medicines are not yet supplied. This has only made the problems of the patients facing the lethal disease worse.”

Only one cancer hospital, opened in Quetta to address the illness requiring pricey treatment, could be created in Balochistan out of the 19 cancer hospitals built throughout Pakistan. Babar Yousafzai, the chief minister’s coordinator, promised that the medications will be provided within 24 hours and noted that the chief minister had already been informed of the situation.
