How To Cancel A Wrong Traffic Challan From Home Easily

The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has launched a new online portal allowing citizens to cancel a wrong traffic challan issued in error. This initiative aims to save time by eliminating the need to visit PSCA offices or stand in long queues.

The portal is designed to help drivers who receive multiple challans for the same offense due to technical glitches or system errors. Now, these drivers can easily request a cancellation of a wrong traffic challan from their mobile phones or computers.

Steps To Cancel A Wrong Traffic Challan:

  1. Visit the PSCA e-Challan portal.
  2. Enter your vehicle registration number and CNIC number.
  3. Select the “Review” option to proceed.
  4. Provide a brief description explaining why the challan is incorrect.
  5. Submit the request for verification and approval.

The PSCA confirmed that this process will streamline complaint handling, reduce administrative workload, and ensure that invalid or duplicate challans are promptly removed from the system.

Additionally, PSCA offers the PSCA Public Safety app for both Android and iOS devices. The app allows citizens to review, manage, and cancel wrong traffic challans directly from their smartphones, adding convenience for vehicle owners across Punjab.

Officials say this initiative is part of PSCA’s ongoing efforts to enhance digital governance and provide efficient, citizen-friendly services. By using the portal or app, drivers can resolve issues related to erroneous challans without unnecessary delays.

The new system is expected to improve public trust in traffic enforcement by addressing errors quickly. Drivers are encouraged to use the portal or app whenever they receive a wrong traffic challan to ensure their records are accurate.
