BYD Launches Sealion 7 and Atto 2 Electric Vehicles in Pakistan, See Prices

BYD Pakistan has officially expanded its presence in the local electric vehicle market with the launch of two new models, the BYD Sealion 7 and the BYD Atto 2. The move marks another major step in the company’s strategy to strengthen its EV lineup in Pakistan and cater to growing consumer interest in electric mobility.

According to BYD Pakistan, the Sealion 7 has been introduced as a premium electric SUV with an ex showroom price of Rs 15,490,000. The model had already created strong anticipation ahead of its launch due to its modern design, advanced performance features, and positioning in the higher end EV segment.

The company has announced that the booking amount for the BYD Sealion 7 has been set at Rs 3,000,000. However, BYD has not yet disclosed official delivery timelines for the vehicle, leaving customers awaiting further updates regarding availability and rollout schedules.

Alongside the Sealion 7, BYD Pakistan has also launched the BYD Atto 2, which targets a more affordable segment of the electric vehicle market. The Atto 2 has been introduced at an ex showroom price of Rs 7,290,000, making it one of the more accessible EV options currently available in Pakistan.

For customers interested in booking the BYD Atto 2, the company has fixed the booking amount at Rs 1,400,000. With its relatively lower price point, the Atto 2 is expected to attract buyers looking to enter the EV market without stepping into the premium pricing bracket.

The launch of these two models highlights BYD Pakistan’s intent to cover multiple segments of the electric vehicle market, from entry level buyers to those seeking higher end electric SUVs. Industry observers believe this approach could help accelerate EV adoption in the country as fuel prices, environmental concerns, and operating costs continue to influence consumer preferences.

Pakistan’s electric vehicle market has been gradually gaining momentum, supported by rising awareness, expanding charging infrastructure, and government policies encouraging cleaner transportation. BYD’s growing lineup adds to the competition and offers consumers more choice in terms of price, size, and features.
