For the second consecutive year, Time Magazine has released its prestigious ‘Time 100 AI’ list, spotlighting global figures making significant strides in preventing the misuse of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Notably, Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor is among those recognized, alongside tech giants like Mark Zuckerberg, owner of Meta, and Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google.

Anil Kapoor, along with Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson, was included for their legal efforts to protect their likenesses from unauthorized use on AI platforms. Both stars have been at the forefront of a legal battle to safeguard their names, images, videos, and voices from being misused by AI technology. In Kapoor’s case, a landmark court ruling granted him legal protection, ensuring his likeness cannot be used without consent.

This inclusion of Kapoor and Johansson on Time’s list highlights the growing concerns over AI misuse and the push for ethical practices within the rapidly evolving tech landscape.
