Bill Gates Regrets Time Spent with Jeffrey Epstein

Bill Gates has expressed deep regret over his past association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, saying he now wishes he had never spent time with him. The Microsoft co-founder acknowledged that meeting Epstein was a mistake and apologized for maintaining any contact, describing every moment of the relationship as something he now regrets.

In a recent interview with 9News Australia, Gates said he feels remorseful about his interactions with Epstein and emphasized that he has distanced himself completely. He stated that he regrets “every minute” spent with Epstein and offered an apology, making it clear that the connection had brought nothing positive to his life.

The issue resurfaced after the US Justice Department released another set of documents related to the Epstein investigation. The files reportedly include emails involving several high-profile figures, some of which suggest friendly communication, questionable financial arrangements, and other private dealings. Among the documents was a draft email attributed to Epstein that made claims about Gates’ personal life, including allegations of inappropriate behavior.

Gates strongly denied these accusations, saying the email in question was never sent and describing it as false. He questioned Epstein’s intentions, suggesting the claims may have been an attempt to damage his reputation. A spokesperson for Gates also rejected the allegations, repeating that the statements contained in the draft email were untrue.

Epstein, who faced multiple charges related to sex trafficking, died by suicide in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial. Since then, continued document releases have kept public attention on individuals previously linked to him.

The renewed scrutiny has also prompted comments from Gates’ former wife, Melinda, who has indicated that questions still remain regarding his past association with Epstein, further fueling public interest in the matter.
