Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), has strongly criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for its decision to leave the assembly. In a session of the National Assembly, he expressed regret over PTI’s exit from the parliament, stating that both the party and the nation are now facing negative consequences as a result.

Bilawal urged PTI to continue advocating for its imprisoned chairman, Imran Khan, but emphasized the importance of returning to the parliament to serve the public effectively. He highlighted the damaging impact of current political conduct on the younger generation, noting that the behavior of politicians has made politics undesirable and disgraceful.

He also criticized the use of abusive language by provincial leaders, such as Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, who recently made inflammatory remarks against journalists and threatened to hold rallies in defiance of restrictions. Bilawal argued that such behavior undermines the ability of leaders to address public issues and serve their constituents properly.

Furthermore, Bilawal called for the creation of a parliamentary committee with representatives from all political parties to address and resolve the ongoing issues, suggesting that this approach could lead to more productive solutions than rallies and confrontational politics.
