London, [Date]: A high-level Pakistani parliamentary delegation, led by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, engaged with British policymakers and experts at Chatham House—the UK’s premier foreign affairs think tank—on Monday. The delegation presented Pakistan’s stance on escalating tensions in South Asia, denouncing India’s recent military actions as a breach of sovereignty and international law.

Bilawal accused India of jeopardizing regional stability through “unprovoked aggression,” warning that such actions undermine the United Nations Charter. He asserted that Pakistan’s armed forces, backed by the nation, had effectively countered India’s attempts to impose a “new normal” in the region.

The PPP chairman also criticized India’s suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, calling it a dangerous escalation that weaponizes water access in violation of global norms. He urged the international community to intervene and hold India accountable.

Reiterating Pakistan’s long-standing position, Bilawal stressed that the unresolved Jammu and Kashmir dispute remains the primary obstacle to peace in South Asia. He called for global support to facilitate dialogue, uphold human rights, and ensure compliance with international commitments.

The delegation included prominent leaders such as Sherry Rehman, Hina Rabbani Khar, and Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the UK, Dr. Mohammad Faisal. The discussions aimed at rallying international pressure to de-escalate tensions and address Pakistan’s security concerns.
