[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]A well-known cricketer was stabbed to death by his best friend during a dispute over team selection for a tournament in the Nem Kallay area of Puran tehsil, Shangla, KP.
Maaz Ali, a 22-year-old local, was killed in the chest by a knife attack by his friend, Habibullah.
According to Usman Munir, the SHO of Aloch Puran Police Station, Maaz was a well-known cricketer in the area who frequently hung out with the suspect.
The fight started when the two got into an argument about team formation, which resulted in Habibullah attacking Maaz with a knife.

Maaz was immediately taken to Pir Mohammad Shaheed hospital, but he died as a result of his injuries sustained in the attack. The murderer was apprehended after the police filed a FIR.
Fazal Subhan Afghani, the deceased’s teacher, spoke to the media and expressed his sadness at the loss of a promising student. Maaz was well-liked in the community and was known for his unique bowling style, so his death left the village in deep mourning.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
