The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has removed Indian presenter Ridhima Pathak from the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). The decision comes after reviewing evolving circumstances linked to diplomatic and political relations between Bangladesh and India.
Ridhima Pathak, however, stated that her exit was a personal decision. She addressed media reports suggesting political tensions influenced her withdrawal. “For me, my nation comes first, and I consider cricket as an assignment,” she said in a social media statement.
