Balochistan CM Mir Sarfraz Bugti has announced the creation of a new administrative division, Koh-e-Suleman, in Barkhan district. The move aims to improve governance and address public issues more efficiently in remote areas.
Speaking at a public gathering in Rakhni, Balochistan CM said the provincial government is committed to balanced development across the province. He emphasized that long-neglected regions would now be integrated into mainstream development plans.
The new division is expected to enhance access to public services and infrastructure for residents of Barkhan and surrounding districts. The Balochistan CM stated that focused administrative reforms are essential for resolving local problems and improving service delivery.
On the issue of security, the Balochistan CM reaffirmed that there is no space for terrorism in the province. He warned that those involved in disrupting peace, including facilitators of militant groups, would face strict action under the law.
Balochistan CM also highlighted the inseparable bond between the Baloch people and Pakistan. He said the government is actively countering propaganda aimed at misleading youth and distancing them from the state.
Officials said the creation of Koh-e-Suleman division is part of a broader strategy to strengthen governance and ensure uniform development. The division is expected to improve decision-making, resource allocation, and administrative efficiency in the region.
The government hopes that the new division will provide better access to essential services such as healthcare, education, and infrastructure. The Balochistan CM emphasized that development and security go hand in hand for the welfare of the people.
