Batting first, Pakistan posted a formidable total of 329 runs in 49.5 overs, with Mohammad Rizwan scoring 80, Babar Azam contributing 73, and Kamran Ghulam adding 63. South Africa fell short in their chase, being bowled out for 248 runs.

Babar’s half-century in the match took his career tally to 39 against SENA nations, surpassing Dhoni’s previous record of 38. Dhoni had set the mark during his illustrious career against these cricketing giants.

This achievement cements Babar Azam’s status as one of the most consistent and remarkable batters in modern cricket.
