Pakistan cricket star Babar Azam has broken former Indian captain MS Dhoni’s record for the most half-centuries across all formats against SENA nations (South Africa, England, New Zealand, and Australia).
The milestone was achieved during the second ODI of a three-match series against South Africa in Cape Town. Pakistan secured an emphatic 81-run victory, clinching the series with a 2-0 lead.

Batting first, Pakistan posted a formidable total of 329 runs in 49.5 overs, with Mohammad Rizwan scoring 80, Babar Azam contributing 73, and Kamran Ghulam adding 63. South Africa fell short in their chase, being bowled out for 248 runs.
Babar’s half-century in the match took his career tally to 39 against SENA nations, surpassing Dhoni’s previous record of 38. Dhoni had set the mark during his illustrious career against these cricketing giants.
