Pakistan captain Babar Azam recently met iconic Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar during their stay in the USA. The Pakistani team arrived in Dallas on Saturday (June 1) to commence their preparations for the upcoming tournament.
Gavaskar, who is currently in the USA fulfilling his role as a commentator with the broadcast team, utilized the opportunity to have a conversation with Azam.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) shared a video on their official X platform, capturing the friendly interaction between the two cricketing legends. In the video, Babar and Gavaskar are seen exchanging greetings and engaging in a pleasant conversation, showcasing the camaraderie between them.
Pakistan’s journey in the tournament kicks off in Dallas, where they will face co-host USA on June 6. Subsequently, they will play against India on June 9 and Canada on June 12 in New York. Their last league match against Ireland is scheduled for June 16 in Florida.
