Babar Azam Drops, Haris Rauf Rises in Latest ICC Rankings

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest ODI and T20 player rankings, showing notable changes among top cricketers. Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam slipped one spot in the ODI batting list to third place.

In ODIs, India’s Shubman Gill remains No. 1, with captain Rohit Sharma moving up to second, while Virat Kohli stays fourth. Australia’s Travis Head climbs to 12th, and Pakistan skipper Mohammad Rizwan drops to 23rd.

In T20 rankings, Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf made a strong jump, rising two spots to 24th with 575 points. Abbas Afridi moved up to 26th, while Sufyan Murtaza and Shaheen Afridi improved to 33rd and 34th, respectively.

On the downside, spinners Mohammad Nawaz and Abrar Ahmed slid to 58th and 61st, and all-rounder Shadab Khan dropped to 73rd.

Globally, New Zealand’s Jacob Duffy tops the T20 bowling rankings, followed by England’s Adil Rashid and West Indies’ Akeal Hosein.
