In the T20I bowler rankings, Akeal Hosein of the West Indies has made a major leap, rising to the top spot for the first time in his career. His exceptional performance of 2/13 in the opening match of the series against Bangladesh propelled him past England’s Adil Rashid, who now occupies second place.
The battle for the top spot in the Test batting rankings is heating up. England’s Joe Root has regained the No.1 spot after his solid performances in the series against New Zealand, where he scored 32 and 54. However, New Zealand’s Kane Williamson is closing in on Root, following a remarkable knock of 156 in Hamilton.
The T20I batter rankings also saw impressive movements, with Rovman Powell and Johnson Charles of the West Indies climbing the rankings after their strong performances in the T20I series against Bangladesh.
