Australian PM Hosts Dinner For Pakistan Cricket Team

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]CANBERRA – Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has extended an invitation to the Pakistan cricket team for a dinner at PM House on Tuesday, December 5.

This invitation coincides with the Team Green’s arrival in Canberra via Sydney on Friday for a three-match Test series against the hosts scheduled from December 2023 to January 2024.

The squad led by Shan Masood will attend the dinner at the Australian PM’s House. Reports indicate that Cricket Australia (CA) has also invited Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Zaka Ashraf.

The Pakistan cricket team is set to play their first Test match against Australia in Perth from December 14 to 18, followed by a Test match in Melbourne from December 26 to 30. The tour’s final game will be held in Sydney from January 3 to 7, 2024.

Pakistan’s squad for the Australia Tests includes Shan Masood (captain), Aamir Jamal, Abdullah Shafique, Abrar Ahmed, Babar Azam, Faheem Ashraf, Hasan Ali, Imam-ul-Haq, Khurram Shahzad, Mir Hamza, Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Mohammad Wasim Jnr, Noman Ali, Saim Ayub, Salman Ali Agha, Sarfaraz Ahmed (wk), Saud Shakeel, and Shaheen Shah Afridi.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
