Aurattech is Raising the Next Generation of Young Female Entrepreneurs

Aurattech hosted a week-long training andcapacity-building bootcamp, Sharktech, for its female students at their institution in Saidpur, Islamabad. Aurattech is a non-profit working to upskill young girls with digital skills and creating avenues for financial independence.They have their own institute in Saidpur.

The initiative ‘Aurattech presents Sharktech’, was designed in response to the identified gap of young girls lacking access to essential business development resources and timely, high-quality mentorship. Youth Employment Network (YEN) guided the participants through the foundations of business model development. Followed by the National Incubation Center (NIC) which prepared the young girls on pitch development and delivery. Finally, seven teams presented their business plans to a panel of five distinguished judges including Miss. Madiha Malik CEO of Cyntax Health, Miss Naima Ansari Former President Islamabad Women Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Mr Asher Ceo of WAI Industry.

The pitches ranged from young girls establishing their own training institutes for reviving heritage embroidery skills, to anime houses telling Pakistan’s history through innovative storytelling. The SharkTech bootcamp polished the young girl’s entrepreneurial dreams into structural and scalable ideas.Aurattech remains committed to fostering environments where young girls have the resources and mentorship needed to reach their full potential.
