Fearing arrest in the ongoing crackdown on PTI leadership and workers, the PTI leader asked the IHC to hear the protective bail application today. Umar’s biometrics were also verified in the Supreme Court.

A day earlier, PTI Chairman Imran Khan and other party leaders and activists were charged with terrorism at Islamabad’s Golra Sharif police station for torching government vehicles, attacking cops, and stealing their official weapons.

In addition, the federal capital police arrested 14 more PTI activists in separate raids after filing a case against Imran and other party leaders as well as workers at the CTD station under Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act.
