Pakistani Climber Asad Ali Memon Completes Seven Summits Challenge

Pakistani mountaineer Asad Ali Memon has successfully completed the prestigious Seven Summits challenge, scaling the highest peaks on all seven continents.

His final ascent was the Carstensz Pyramid, also known as Puncak Jaya, located on New Guinea Island. This climb marks the culmination of seven years of relentless effort and challenging expeditions.

Asad Ali Memon’s accomplishment is a significant milestone for Pakistan, highlighting the country’s growing presence in global mountaineering. His achievement has inspired aspiring climbers nationwide.

From the summit of Carstensz Pyramid, Memon shared his excitement in a video message: “I am standing on the highest peak of the seventh continent. The mission that began seven years ago has finally been completed. Pakistan Zindabad!”

He also expressed gratitude to his supporters and urged continued encouragement for the next generation of Pakistani climbers. “I’ve fulfilled my dream, and I request everyone to support future climbers as you supported me,” he said.

  • Africa: Mount Kilimanjaro
  • Europe: Mount Elbrus
