Residents of Dhoke Banaras, under the jurisdiction of the Race Course Police Station, were left in shock after a series of armed robberies struck the area. Two masked men carried out consecutive heists, looting a medical store and three grocery shops in Milt Colony before fleeing with cash and other valuables.

CCTV footage from the incidents captured the brazen acts. In one clip, the robbers are seen entering the medical store where the owner was holding his young son, aged around three to four years. Ignoring the child’s presence, one robber headed straight to the cash counter while the other stood guard, brandishing a pistol. The thieves emptied the register, frisked the owner for additional cash, and then moved on to their next target.
Shortly after, the same duo struck a nearby grocery shop, with surveillance footage showing them ransacking the store before escaping. They continued their spree, looting two more shops in the vicinity.
Police were alerted and arrived at the scene to gather evidence, but the suspects remain at large. Authorities have yet to identify any solid leads in the case, leaving locals concerned over the rising boldness of such crimes. Investigations are ongoing.
