Apple is scheduled to hold a major hardware event on September 9 at 10 a.m. PT. The company is expected to unveil the iPhone 17 series, alongside updates for the Apple Watch and AirPods.
The iPhone 17 lineup may feature larger screens, improved cameras, and a redesigned body. Reports also suggest that Apple could introduce an ultra-thin iPhone Air, replacing the Plus model. These updates are part of Apple’s plan for a three-year series of major iPhone redesigns.
iPhone 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max
The standard iPhone 17 may include a 6.3-inch screen, a 120 Hz display, and a 24-megapixel front camera. New colors like purple and green could also be available.
Pro models are expected to receive upgrades to the rear cameras, with a horizontal camera bar and a centrally placed Apple logo. The iPhone 17 Pro may use an aluminum frame instead of titanium, reducing weight and cost. The Pro Max could see minor changes, including a slightly larger body for an improved battery.
Estimated prices are $800 for the iPhone 17, $1,100 for the Pro, and $1,250 for the Pro Max. Storage options may include 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB, possibly dropping the 128GB variant.
iPhone Air
Apple may launch its thinnest phone yet, the iPhone Air, measuring 5.5mm with a 6.6-inch screen. The device may have a single rear camera and a slimmer battery. Expected prices range from $899 to $950, with black, silver, and light gold colors.
Apple Watch and AirPods
The Apple Watch Ultra 3 may include 5G support, faster charging, and satellite connectivity. Series 11 could introduce blood pressure monitoring, while SE 3 may receive minor upgrades. Prices are expected at $250 for SE 3, $400 for Series 11, and $800 for Ultra 3.
AirPods Pro 3 could feature a more compact design, touch controls, and a slimmer case.
Apple’s upcoming event is expected to attract tech enthusiasts, showcasing innovation across smartphones, wearables, and audio devices.
