Apple Launches New iPad Pro With Enhanced Power And AI Features

Apple has launched updated versions of its iPad Pro lineup, featuring both 11-inch and 13-inch models. The new iPad Pro includes the latest M5 chip, expanded memory options, and improved AI performance. The design and display technology remain familiar, but the internal upgrades make the devices significantly more powerful.

The M5 chip is the centerpiece of the new iPad Pro. It has a 10-core CPU with four performance cores and six efficiency cores. The GPU also has 10 cores, each with dedicated neural accelerators. Apple claims AI processing is now up to 3.5 times faster than last year’s model. Ray tracing performance is 1.5 times higher, and video transcoding in Final Cut Pro is 1.2 times faster.

Memory upgrades are another highlight. The 256GB and 512GB iPad Pro models now come with 12GB of RAM, up from 8GB. The 1TB and 2TB variants continue to offer 16GB of RAM. Apple has also added the N1 wireless chip and C1X modem, previously featured in this year’s iPhones.

The new iPad Pro supports external displays at up to 120Hz and includes Adaptive Sync for compatible screens. These improvements make it suitable for creative professionals who rely on high-performance graphics and AI processing.

Charging speeds have improved as well. Using Apple’s 40W Dynamic Power Adapter, the 11-inch iPad Pro charges to 50% in 30 minutes, while the 13-inch model reaches 50% in 35 minutes. These fast-charging capabilities match the standard of the latest iPhone models.
