Apple has officially confirmed the launch date of its iPhone 17 series, set for September 9 at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California. The event, titled “AV Dropping,” will also unveil several other Apple products.
The iPhone 17 lineup will include four models: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and the all-new iPhone 17 Air, which is expected to gain major attention with its ultra-thin design.
All models will be powered by A19 and A19 Pro chips for faster performance and improved battery life. The Pro versions will feature a redesigned camera system capable of producing high-quality shots even in low light. The iPhone 17 Air is expected to be the thinnest and lightest iPhone ever, while Pro models will use a sturdier aluminum frame.
Apple will also introduce the Apple Watch Series 11 with advanced health tracking, along with the Apple Watch SE 3 and Rugged Ultra 3, both featuring satellite connectivity for emergencies. Updates to AirPods are expected as well, including AI-powered features and better noise cancellation.
