[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]An 80-year-old woman was allegedly raped on Saturday in Basti Din Muhammad, Moza Galore Massu Khan, approximately 55 km from Rahim Yar Khan, according to Rukanpur police.
The traumatic incident occurred when the victim’s family left their home to take part in a Muharram procession, leaving the elderly mother at home with her son. During this time, she walked nearby to his father’s house to wash clothes. Unfortunately, her son heard her calls for aid during this time.

The son raced to the site, joined by two witnesses, and saw the suspect abusing the old woman in a field. When he realised he was being watched, the assailant managed to flee.
The police filed a case against the suspect under Section 376 of the Pakistan Penal Code, taking the appropriate steps to apprehend the alleged culprit and bring the victim to justice.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
