Islamabad’s Expressway expansion project has encountered delays, missing the original deadline of August 14. The Chief Commissioner and CDA Chairman, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, had previously announced that the expansion, including road work and bridge constructions, would be completed by this date.
As of now, significant portions of the project remain unfinished, prompting an extension of the deadline to September 30. CDA Director of Public Relations, Shahid Kiani, has stated that 98% of the road work is complete and assures that the project will be fully operational by the new deadline.
