Andrew Tate and Brother Depart Romania Amid Ongoing Legal Issues

Controversial internet figures Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan have left Romania, reportedly en route to the United States. Sources confirmed that the brothers departed from Bucharest’s Baneasa Airport early Thursday morning, with their flight believed to be heading toward Florida.

This move follows a decision by Romanian prosecutors to approve Andrew Tate’s request to travel abroad, despite ongoing criminal investigations. Both Tate, 38, and his brother, 36, are facing charges including rape, human trafficking, and exploitation of women, all of which they have consistently denied.

Recently released from house arrest, the Tate brothers had been barred from leaving Romania while legal proceedings continued. The Romanian government has denied speculation that US officials pressured them to lift the travel restrictions, despite reports of discussions about the case during the Munich Security Conference.

Andrew Tate, a former kickboxer with millions of followers across social media, has been banned multiple times from platforms for inflammatory remarks advocating violence against women. His statements, often criticized for promoting toxic masculinity and misogyny, have raised concerns about his influence on younger audiences, particularly teenage boys.
