Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan, a leader of the PPP, has asserted that the alleged “deal between Nawaz Sharif and the establishment” has been definitively revealed, dispelling any doubts about the former prime minister’s political maneuvers being solely aimed at regaining office.
He further accused Nawaz Sharif of skillfully outmaneuvering other political figures in his quest for power and to strike a deal with the establishment.

Speaking to the media, Ahsan commented, “I had previously warned that Nawaz Sharif would overshadow everyone if given the opportunity. My warnings were disregarded at the time, but now the same has occurred.”
He expressed his lament for the absence of a proper system in the country and pointed out that authority, as prescribed in the constitution, is derived from Allah and upheld by elected individuals. “How can there be a system when there are no elected individuals?”
The PPP leader also acknowledged his disagreements with his own party, saying, “I have had disagreements with the PPP many times. Sometimes they agree with me, sometimes they don’t.”
