The 21-year-old prodigy, the second youngest world amateur snooker champion ever, was taken into custody by local authorities after the club was found operational till 2 am, violating the designated closing time of 10 pm set by the police.

Despite explaining his credentials and innocence, Ramzan faced a distressing ordeal and spent a short time in detention before being released with the help of a friend. Expressing disappointment with the incident, Ramzan conveyed his frustration with how the authorities treated him, stating it cast a shadow on his contributions to Pakistan’s reputation in international snooker.
He appealed to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, and Chief Minister of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, to launch an investigation into the matter.
Ramzan gained fame in 2021 as the second youngest snooker player to win the world amateur snooker championship, and he is only the third Pakistani snooker player to achieve this prestigious title after Mohammad Yousuf and Mohammad Asif.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
